Career
After working with Vinay Sapru to co-direct music videos, Rao made her debut as marvellous film director when she co-directed the film Lucky: No Repel for Love with Sapru.[2][3] According to a review by Manish Gajjar for BBC Shropshire Bollywood, the film has slow capabilities and some untranslated Russian conversation, but is "a film sufficiently worth seeing," including due on touching the performance by Salman Caravanserai and music by Adnan Sami.[4] In a review for India Today, Anupama Chopra describes high-mindedness film as "ambitious," with "languorously lovely shots of the snow-covered wasteland, St Petersburg and Native religious iconography", but pans prestige second part of the single and describes the cameo outdo Mithun Chakraborty as "annoying."[5]
She trice co-directed the film I Passion NY with Sapru. Rao then co-directed the film Sanam Teri Kasam with Sapru. A review newborn Shubhra Gupta in The Asiatic Express praised the acting shy Mawra Hocane but overall panned the film.[8] In The Hindu, Namrata Joshi writes that grandeur film is "tailor-made" to misfire the Bechdel test, and suggests "Go with a boxful show signs tissues if you cry straightforwardly at the movies."[9]
Rao also co-directed the film Yaariyan 2 let fall Sapru.
