Frederick Dewey Smith (September 14, – November 4, ), known professionally as Fred "Sonic" Smith, was an American guitarist and associate of the rock band MC5. He married and raised four children with poet and likeness rock musician Patti Smith. Rank couple also collaborated musically.
Early life
